Reviving Health and Hope Through LESC's Residential Primary Care Clinic

At LESC, we recognize that individuals in residential recovery often overlook their general health, missing crucial screenings like mammograms, colonoscopies, Pap smears, vaccinations, etc. In our commitment to holistic care, our primary care providers take on an additional layer of responsibility to ensure our clients get the help they need. They assess each client's unique health needs and ensure they receive comprehensive care and appropriate referrals.

You deserve to be treated like a whole person, and at LESC, we support your recovery journey and meet you where you are with love, energy, safety, and compassion.

LESC Residential Primary Healthcare New York City

The foundation of the LESC Residential Primary Care Clinic is built upon nurturing and empathetic relationships forged with our clients. We understand your journey may come from difficult circumstances – including unstable situations and limited access to healthcare. As a holistic community, our staff works to provide you with a full range of primary care screenings, appointments, and referrals.

Vigilance and proactive support by primary care providers like the ones at LESC can lead to early interventions, potentially preventing the progression of any debilitating diseases. This clinic has been instrumental in shaping recovery journeys for many of our clients.

What to Expect From Our Primary Healthcare Clinic for Residents

In residential care, some clients arrive at LESC with multiple co-morbidities. This includes conditions like:

• Asthma
• Diabetes
• Prostate hypertrophy
• Neuropathy
• Dangerously high hypertension
• And others

In most instances, these conditions were left unmanaged. At Su Casa, primary care providers go the extra mile to ensure clients receive continuous care. They secure necessary medication refills and connect clients with other physicians before their departure, safeguarding their medication adherence.

For our primary care providers, the most rewarding aspect of their work is witnessing clients reclaim their health, rebuild relationships, restore their families, and rediscover their sense of purpose. Su Casa residents often express deep gratitude for the care and support they receive on their journey to recovery. These stories highlight the transformative power of a primary care relationship within a residential recovery setting and its lasting impact on the lives of LESC clients.

You can rely on our healthcare team to be with you every step of the way, supporting a healthier and brighter future for yourself.
